Playing fun games and being active and creative isn't just for kids. Our activities and equipment are very useful for adults too, particularly in the corporate sector. Many corporate business use team building activities and training to build rapour with work mates as well as trust and cooperation when working in a team environment. This type of experience is intended to encourage greater productivity in the work place and generally make for a happier and healther work place.
According to Wikipedia, the process of team building includes,
- clarifying the goal, and building ownership across the team and
- identifying the inhibitors to teamwork and removing or overcoming them, or if they cannot be removed, mitigating their negative effect on the team.
To assess itself, a team seeks feedback to find out both:
- its current strengths as a team
- its current weaknesses
To improve its current performance, a team uses the feedback from the team assessment in order to:
As well as specific activities desgined to teach team building, trust and problem solving - there are also many kids games (that are age specific) that are educational and fun that do the same thing.
